What It Is: The Fuser Drive Plate (sold together with the Fuser Drive Gear as a Fuser Gear Kit Set) - the geared plate that transmits motor drive to the fuser roller, keeping it turning in sync as it heats and presses toner onto the page. A worn or cracked fuser drive plate causes the fuser roller to slip, stall or turn erratically, leading to paper jams at the fuser or toner that isn't fully bonded to the page.
