What It Is: The Head Wheel / Head Roller (supplied complete with holder) - the small guide roller that rides against the print head and helps set the correct head-to-paper gap as the carriage moves across the passbook. A worn or seized head wheel causes uneven print darkness, the print head catching on thick passbook pages, or a grinding/clicking noise from the carriage.
