What It Is: The Duplex Tray / Duplex Unit - the mechanical tray/module that flips a printed sheet and feeds it back through the engine for automatic two-sided (duplex) printing, genuinely distinct from the electronic Duplex PCB/PCA control board that drives it. A worn, cracked or misaligned duplex tray causes duplex printing to jam or fail every time while single-sided printing keeps working normally, or the duplex option to grey out or throw an error in the print driver.
